Big smiles start at home

Firstly, we're parents.

We tried everything! The fun brushes, the bright packaging, the 'kids love it!' promises. None of it worked. Two minutes of tears, a spat-out toothbrush, and a parent losing that battle every single night. So we started building something that does.

Kara spent years in classrooms watching tooth decay go unchallenged...not for lack of caring, but lack of options. She saw the same story play out again and again: parents doing everything right, and it still wasn't enough. That stuck with her. Sam brought the legal and commercial rigour of a career spanning the UK's biggest corporations to the smallest, most stubborn problem in parenting. Turns out the skills that close a boardroom deal work just as well on a toddler who won't open their mouth.

Between the two of us, we had the insight and the grit. What we didn't have (yet) was the product. So we spent years chasing it: formulating, reformulating, testing on our own kids, refusing to launch anything until it actually worked. Pearly Bites is what came out the other end. Not a brush, not a paste, not another false promise; just something that finally gets kids to brush, properly, every day.

Our Mission

To eradicate tooth decay in children, globally. Every day, millions of children around the world go to bed without brushing their teeth. Not because parents don't care, but because the routine is a struggle. A toothbrush and a tube of paste ask a lot of a three-year-old: stand still, tolerate the taste, understand why it matters. Most nights, that's a bridge too far. Pearly Bites changes that.

Our clinically-backed toothpaste tablets turn brushing into something children want to do, making healthy smiles achievable for families everywhere. No fighting over the sink, no spat-out mouthfuls of paste, no giving up halfway through...just a chewable bite that kids actually enjoy, doing the same job a full brush and paste routine would.

This isn't a mission we're chasing alone. It's built on years of formulation work with dental professionals and scientists, refined until the science matched the fun. Because a product only eradicates tooth decay if children actually use it, and that's the whole reason Pearly Bites exists.

From our family, to yours.

We started off where you're sitting right now. Searching, battling and hoping for a solution to the daily brush battle. So, we decided to create our own! Pearly Bites is what happens when two frustrated parents decide to actually fix it. Not a boardroom idea dreamed up for a gap in the market, a real problem, lived every night in our own homes, with our own kids refusing to brush just like yours might be right now.

We know the drill because we've done it a thousand times: the bargaining, the tears, the two-minute timer that somehow takes twenty. We tried the brushes shaped like characters, the flavours that promised to win kids over, the sticker charts. None of it changed the fight itself. So we went back to basics and asked what would actually make a child want to brush? Not tolerate it, want it.

That's the family behind Pearly Bites: not perfect, not immune to the brush battle ourselves, just determined enough to build something that ends it. From our family to yours - we hope it makes your evenings a little easier too.
