What age are Pearly Bites suitable for?
Pearly Bites Strawberry toothpaste tablets are suitable for children aged 3 and over. Pearly Bites Buttermint toothpaste tablets are suitable for children aged 6 and over. Both should always be used under adult supervision.
How do we use them?
Simple — pop one tablet in your child's mouth, chew it until it turns into a paste, then brush teeth as normal with a toothbrush. Spit the remaining paste out — don't rinse, so the fluoride keeps working. One tablet per brush, twice a day.
Do they contain fluoride?
Yes. Pearly Bites Strawberry tablets contain 1,000ppm fluoride — the level recommended by dentists for children aged 3 and over, the same strength you'd find in leading children's toothpastes. Pearly Bites Buttermint tablets contain 1,450ppm fluoride, recommended for children aged 6 and above.
Are they safe if my child swallows one?
The tablets are made from cosmetic-grade ingredients and have been independently safety assessed. If your child accidentally swallows one tablet, there's no cause for alarm. If they swallow several or show any signs of discomfort, call NHS 111.

Absolutely. Every Pearly Bites tablet has been through a full Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), independently assessed and passed by a qualified safety assessor. They comply with UK Cosmetic Regulations 2013.

How long do the tablets stay fresh?
Unopened, your Pearly Bites tablets are good for 24 months. Once you crack open the tin, aim to use them within three months to keep things fresh and flavourful. Honestly though? We doubt they'll hang around that long.
